Sermon-based Questions on Titus (Week 1)

June 3rd, 2025

Read Titus 1:1-4 slowly, a couple of times, if you’re doing this after the sermon and need a refresher. It’ll be hard to answer these questions otherwise.

1. Who wrote the letter? Why? Who did he write it to you? What is their relationship to one another?

2. What is the message that Paul is passionate about? What is it about? How did that message change his life?

3. What is Paul’s mission? How does knowing that God does the choosing and the convincing encourage you to share the gospel?

4. What would you say is your life mission? If you were to summarize why you’re here and what your life goal is in 1 sentence, what would you say?

5. What difference does knowing the truth of the gospel make to your week? (who you were, who you now are, and who you are now becoming in Christ)

6. How does this passage change your view of evangelism? (Evangelism = talking and sharing about Jesus)

7. Who in your church could you begin to pray for, that they would grow in knowing the truth and grow in becoming like Jesus (godliness)? How does this passage change the way you commit to your church?
